Headband OG Feminized Seeds

A 60/40 Sativa Indica hybrid without the long wait time, this is what all hybrids should be. Renowned for its strength Headband OG is definitely not for the fainthearted as THC levels for this strain have been measured at over 27%. The name refers to the sensation of pressure around the head and behind the eyes that many users experience; although it may also be a nod to the traditional hippy headgear.

This strain is felt in very firmly, very quickly. On the first long toke and intense fog fills your head physically bringing on a sensation of pressure. Your mind is still reasonably clear as the sativa aspect of the genetics maintain some mental clarity even as the body effects take fully hold. With further use a more deeply sedating calm will wash over you, helping to relieve aches and pains, and soothe away stress.

Despite the Sativa dominance (60/40), it finishes like an indica and can be ready in just 9-10 weeks under optimal conditions. The yields are medium to high depending on setup, but are more than made up for by the strength and potency. The branch distancing is medium so light penetration is quite good and can be improved with only a little training and trimming. The growth structure is spread across multiple branches so it is an ideal Scrog strain.

The overall shape of Headband OG is a classic hybrid Christmas tree. The leaves a quite wide without being rounded and tend towards a slightly dully dark green. The buds a dense and clustered rather thank being one single cola. The aroma in veg is a mild pine and skunk mix. As the plant moves in top flowering stage this smell becomes very pronounced and can be very potent in a small grow space, so make sure it is well ventilated and odour neutralizers are used if privacy is a concern.

As high strength strains go this is one of the best. A very strong head and body stone that is a great all round stress reliever. Headband OG is a solid yielder with a great earthy skunk taste. This strain is not for beginners of those with a low tolerance as it packs a real punch.

The first thing you smell with this strain is an acrid mix of diesel fuel and pine scents, which although strong is really quite tasty. When you taste it the same flavours abound but in a very smooth warming way. The medical effects of Headband OG are quite strong as it is an excellent pain reliever but does not leave you with a a couch lock feeling that immobilises you. A solid head high will spread through your limbs with an active body buzz before the head felling intensifies once again giving the trademark "headband" sensation.
